As one of Canada's best service providers, our customers benefit from CCHIWC's unique client-centered service planning, which takes into account the requirements and desires of the individuals we serve.
We build a strategy for success in consultation with the client and/or family, utilizing our highly trained team. Our staff is trained in a variety of areas, including medication administration, abuse prevention, crisis prevention and intervention, and positive behavior.
Residential Assistance
CCHIWC Supportive Roommates provides 24/7 in-home care to our clients, whether they own their home or need to find a new one. In a secure and friendly private house, supportive roommates focus on daily living skills and camaraderie.
CCHIWC also provides Respite Assistance, which are temporary residential supports. Respite Supports allow parents and/or residential support employees to unwind for a brief amount of time, generally over the weekend, at our client's or another Supportive Roommate's home.
Counselling Services
Utilize our in-house psychologist, who provides a safe setting for our clients, CCHIWC Staff, and the general public to be understood while providing coping techniques.
Employment Assistance
Employment Assistance focuses on effectively obtaining and keeping gainful and rewarding employment that fits our customers' skill sets. This is accomplished by having our support personnel keep our clients focused on the task at hand while simultaneously acting as a liaison with third-party management.
Community Day Programs
CCHIWC provides access and support in the areas of recreation and social networking, with the purpose of achieving our clients' interpersonal goals in an engaging and enjoyable manner. We promote long-term beneficial friendships that serve as natural supports for our clients.
