About Canadian Citizens of Heaven International

Our objective is to foster self-sufficiency and personal growth in people with disabilities. This is accomplished through increased community presence and engagement, improved skill and image, and empowerment. 

CCHIWC attempts to provide support services aimed at maximizing a person's potential and quality of life. The following values guide us in providing this service:

· Every person, regardless of disabilities, is a unique individual with worth.

· To the greatest extent possible, every person has a need for self-determination.

· Every person has the right to live a dignified life.

· Every person should be able to live as a full member of society in his or her own community.

· Every individual has the right to reside in their own house and have that home seen as their own, rather than the home of an agency, organization, or staff.

· Every individual has the right to be surrounded by people who care about them and want the best for them (family and friends).

· Every individual has the right to be welcomed and valued for who they are.

· Everyone has the right to give of themselves and receive from others.

· Everyone must be treated appropriately for their age.
