Support Worker
Description
We are always looking for support staff to support clients with a range of needs, from very independent to very dependent. Not to worry, we won’t put you in a position that makes you feel uncomfortable and you can always decline shifts.
You would be responsible for meeting the support requirements of our clients, in a way that respects the individual and promotes their independence. You would be expected to travel to the client’s home and assist them with daily tasks as agreed between the client and Caremark.
The type of support that you would be providing is no different to what would reasonably be given by a member of the person’s family. For instance, you may be providing help with bathing and dressing or domestic support.
Principal Responsibilities
Your role would include helping clients with tasks such as:
- Help with washing & dressing
- Shopping & meal preparation
- Prompting with medication
- Support with daily routines
- Respite services
- Socializing and leisure activities
- Helping clients access the community

HealthCare Aide
Description
We are looking for a medical professional who is responsible for helping clients with day-to-day tasks, like bathing and dressing. They may also be responsible for light housekeeping duties such as doing laundry or dishes to ensure patients’ home healthcare health and well-being.
We are looking for a compassionate Home Health Aide to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in clients’ homes in accordance with an established care plan.
Responsibilities
- Provide health care services in patients residences
- Perform domestic and household tasks
- Transport and accompany patients to doctors office or to hospital
- Administer simple prescribed medications
- Assist with clients personal care activities
- Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) and report on their condition
- Maintain patients care records and document provided services
- Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises
- Instruct and counsel patients and families on diet and exercise
- Collect routine specimens
- Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
Requirements and skills
- Proven working experience as Home Health Aide
- Ability to monitor vital signs and to collect specimens
- Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
- Proficiency in English
- Nursing and health care administration skills
- Caring and compassionate personality
- Current CPR certificate
- First Aid training
- Valid driver’s licencse
- High school degree
